Christine Whitaker is Regional Senior Vice President for Comcast’s Keystone Region. In this role, she is responsible for all residential and business services operations including marketing, sales, finance, engineering, human relations, customer experience, fulfillment and external affairs. She leads 3,900 employees serving over 1.6 million customers throughout Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and western Maryland.
Prior to joining Comcast, Chris held the position of Group Vice President, Chief Learning Officer for Time Warner Cable. In this role, she was responsible for the company’s learning and leadership development programs and supported end-to-end performance and talent management. In addition, her team oversaw the development and support of programs that attract, develop and retain diverse talent across the Time Warner enterprise.
A seasoned finance and operations executive, Chris is a cable industry veteran with 15 years of prior experience at Comcast Cable, where she served as Area Vice President and General Manager of Northern Virginia.
Chris has received numerous industry accolades, including the 2005 Woman in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Washington/Baltimore Fearless Award, the 2012 WICT Carolinas Inspiration Award, the 2015 Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Chairman’s Award and was named among the Most Powerful Women in 2017 and 2018 by CableFAX: The Magazine. She sits on the board and is Board Treasurer for the SCTE, and is on the advisory board of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development. Chris is a member of WICT and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University. She is also a graduate of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) executive management program at Harvard Business School and the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute of WICT. She resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband Tim, and daughter, Abbie.
